4/20-4/26

Last week, I reached one of my greatest milestones in my ISM journey- completing my final product. After turning it in and finishing my Product Set-Up and Completion Assessment, I finally breathed a huge sigh of relief. I did it! The feeling I received from reaching the finish line was truly remarkable. After countless hours of research, meetings with my mentor, drafting, revising, and revising again, I was able to produce a FINAL product that I was extremely proud of.

Although the sense of accomplishment I had last week was great, I cannot relish in it for too long as there is always more to be done. Final product night is this week! The date I had ingrained in my brain since the first day of school this year has finally arrived. So, this week, my primary goal is to complete my slide deck for presentation night and find time to record my presentation to be viewed virtually. The night has come and preparations must be underway. I will make sure to draft a speech that is reflective of my work and improvement this year and most importantly, I will practice, practice, and practice!!

Final Product Night is the last major obstacle before AP Exams next week and then graduation. It still feels surreal to me how I have made it through the entire year and in a few weeks I will transition from a senior into a graduate who will be going off to college. While the end is in sight, I will not let my emotions get the best of me.
