FINAL PRODUCT FINISHED!

This past week felt like a roller coaster ride. With the deadline for my final product inching closer and closer, I was on my toes trying to finish my research report and get it to a point where I was sure that I had included everything I intended to in the best possible manner. While there was a lot of work that I knew I had before me, I was incredibly lucky and thankful for receiving an extension from my ISM teacher. After receiving another week to wrap up my project, I made sure to create a plan that would effectively aid me in utilizing the extra time given and, ultimately, help me to finish the product on time this time around.

I finished adding to my report draft and then met with my mentor to receive additional feedback and suggestions for edits before finalizing my product. As you might already be able to tell, most of my time in ISM last week was spent on my final product. After a long week, I finally finished! As I looked over my finished research report, I was overcome by such a unique sense of pride that just reminded me of how far I have come this year. I am extremely pleased with how my final product turned out and believe that it is an accurate reflection and culmination of my research and growth as a scholar this year. I learned, once more, during my ISM journey that hard work does pay off. I channeled my satisfaction from completing my product into crafting my final product assessment on the set-up and completion process of my semester-long research report.

After reflecting on my progress and success in the creation of my product, I acquired hope in continuing to remain successful in my future endeavors. This week, I will view my peers’ final product and offer feedback while also crafting my slides deck and finishing my speech for final product night. There is more to come in my ISM journey and I am excited to end the year off strong!!
