Final product has been one of the biggest things that have been concerning me over the past few weeks. With the deadline only about a week away, this past week was certainly binge time. Last week in ISM, I continued working on my video presentation to complement my research paper for my final product. I finished up reproducing my learning and information in my paper onto a visually appealing and engaging slide deck. I was able to effectively structure my time that allowed me to be productive and succeed best in nearing the end of my product. During the long weekend, I was determined to put more time into my product and get it as close to ready as possible and tie up any loose ends as necessary. In addition to revising my research paper, I made sure to research good video presentation softwares in order to determine which platform I will use to eventually record my visual slides presentation. After watching a YouTube tutorial by Kevin Stratvert, I found out how to make a video using my Microsoft PowerPoint. By taking the time to watch the tutorial, I have been able to learn about a functional means of recording my presentation for my final product. If I find it comfortable and enjoy the process, I might even consider using the same approach to recording my virtual final product night presentation!
This week, I intend to record my presentation and edit it as I see fit to enhance the quality. I will also set up a time to visit my mentor virtually and receive feedback on my final product. While I initially thought of reaching out to my mentor this weekend, I decided it would be best to speak with her when I have finished wrapping up my product. After celebrating a relaxing Easter with my family this weekend, I have found peace and a sense of calm for what lies in the next few weeks. I am sure that the end will be nothing short of “eggcellent”.
